For years, father and son, Mike and Pete Nurzia envisioned a company that could successfully incorporate the design and build process.  Mike spent over 40 years as a sole proprietor in the home building and development industry. Pete took his Business Management degree and went to work for a large construction corporation, for the sole purpose of gaining production experience. He became the project manager for a 200+ lot subdivision in Mystic, Connecticut.
In 1998, Mike and Pete successfully combined their experience with their vision and together formed "Nurzia Construction Corporation." They are now delivering award-winning Design/Build homes and remodeling projects. NCC has successfully applied their Design/Build process in the Commercial arena as well, including restaurant construction and renovation.
NCC has been recognized by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as a "Regional Contractor of the Year" (2008) and has been featured in Empire State Builder, The Poughkeepsie Journal, The Journal News, and Hudson Valley Business Journal. Pete is a Past President of the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley (BAHV).
